MercyAscot speaks at Digital Health Week Conference

9 December 2022

Our Senior Clinical and Informatics Pharmacist Stephen Choong and Consultant Katie Davis spoke at Health Informatics New Zealand’s Digital Health Week Conference this week about the medicine reconciliation module that we are currently building alongside InterSystems that links to the New Zealand e-Prescribing Service.

Once it is launched next year, it will be the first electronic discharge prescription module in New Zealand. Specialists will be able to prescribe remotely, saving significant time for the clinician and the patient. The linked electronic medical record also reduces the risk of medication errors.
