October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in support of Pink October we want to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and regular mammograms in the fight against breast cancer. One in nine women will develop breast cancer at some time in their life and nine New Zealand women, on average, will hear the news today that they have breast cancer*.
